Our Commitment To Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.The Information We Collect:
This notice applies to all personal information collected or submitted through the GVoice app. On the login pane, you can enter your Google Voice login credentials in order to connect the GVoice app to the Google Voice, Google Contacts, and Google Docs services. The types of personal information collected are:- Google account email address
- Google account password
This information is only used to gain temporary access tokens used to read and write to Google Voice, Google Contacts, and Google Docs, and is never saved on your Windows 8 device, or to the Internet, without your express consent. Consent to save your login credentials is provided via checking the "Stay signed in" checkbox on the login pane. Even if you select to stay signed in, GVoice never stores your login credentials on any server, but rather uses the built-in, Microsoft-provided Windows 8 Credential Locker to securely encrypt and store your credentials. The temporary access tokens that GVoice acquires are also stored securely using the Windows 8 Credential Locker. The Credential Locker will only save your credentials and access token locally on your Windows 8 device, unless you choose to enable Roaming Settings in the Windows 8 Control Panel, in which case your credentials and access token are also stored securely on Microsoft's servers.
Information retrieved via GVoice's access to your Google Voice, Google Contacts, and Google Docs accounts, such as messages and contacts, is never saved or transferred anywhere other than to your local Windows 8 device. GVoice does not use this information for any purpose other than to provide you a view of your Google Voice, Google Contact, and Google Docs information. Information you give to GVoice to transfer to the Google Voice, Google Contact, or Google Docs services, such as text messages to send or a new photo for a Google contact, are never transferred to any party other than the Google Voice, Google Contacts, or Google Docs services.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect. All information sent between GVoice and Google Docs, Google Contacts, and Google Voice is sent over an SSL encrypted connection.Your Consent
